Authorities in Russia’s Belgorod report downed aerial targets and drone strikes

The authorities in the Russian city of Belgorod claimed on 18 March that their air defence had downed eight aerial targets. There are also reports of kamikaze drone strikes in the oblast.

He added that damage had been caused to roofs in two industrial facilities and the windows of one of the buildings of a healthcare institution had been shattered by falling debris.
Local Telegram channels are reporting that Energomash in Belgorod is likely to have been damaged. Photos of the damage are being posted.
Earlier on the evening of 18 March, the Freedom of Russia Legion had urged civilians to leave Belgorod because they would be launching attacks on military facilities.
