Ballistic attack on Kyiv: all missiles destroyed

The Russians used ballistic armament to launch an attack on the city of Kyiv on the night of 12-13 December – all the missiles were destroyed.

Details: Popko stated that at about 3:00 at night the Russians launched missiles, likely from the north-eastern front.
Means of air defence have destroyed all the targets. The number and type of missiles will be defined by the Ukrainian Air Force.
As a result of the air defence’s operation, missile fragments fell down in three left bank districts of the city.
In the Darnytskyi district, a private house caught fire, its total area being 400 metres squared.
In the Dniprovskyi district, a balcony on the 7th floor of a 9-storey building was on fire. The façade of a house and the windows were damaged. Four vehicles in the yard caught fire as well. The residents were evacuated. The injured people (who mostly received cut wounds) received medical treatment.
In addition to this, a private house caught fire, with the fire’s total area being 2 metres squared.
In the Desnianskyi district, missile fragments fell on an open area and roadway.
In total 23 people were injured. Thirteen out of them were hospitalised with injuries of different degrees of severity. All victims received urgent medical treatment.
