Biden hopes Congress will block attempts to halt assistance to Ukraine

US President Joe Biden has stated that there has been a “significant number of Democrats and Republicans” in Congress who would not agree to attempts to halt assistance to Ukraine.

It is my hope and expectation that they will speak up if [Donald] Trump decides to cut off funding.”
Details: Biden also emphasised that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is currently in a “tough shape” due to the exhausting war and economic pressure from the West.
In this context, Biden stressed the importance of not allowing Putin to regroup and continue his aggression.
