Central bank cuts 2023 GDP growth forecast, slaps property market controls
Taipei, June 15 (CNA) The Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) said Thursday that it has lowered its forecast of Taiwan’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast to below 2 percent, citing a weak export performance, and has imposed more selective credit control on the property market to rein in property prices despite a pause to its rate hike cycle.
