Company to compensate those affected by Pingtung factory fire
Taipei, Oct. 15 (CNA) Launch Technologies Co, the Pingtung-based golf ball factory liable for the deadly fire last month that left 10 people dead and 113 injured, said Sunday that it has set up a NT$500 million (US$15.51 million) trust fund for payments to affected employees, and that deceased firefighters’ families will also receive compensation.
