Defence Ministry approves women’s underwear for servicewomen of Ukraine’s Armed Forces

Servicewomen of the Armed Forces will be issued with underwear from the state.
From now on, women’s underwear will be in storage of defence forces, the Ministry of Defence reported.
“Women’s underwear passed all the necessary tests in the units of the Armed Forces.
The servicewomen tested the sets during 2023 in two stages, checked them for functionality, reliability, quality, convenience, as well as for compliance with their own preferences,” the department reminded.
Women noted that the new underwear has a number of advantages:
- high-quality materials (including cotton and elastane) that are highly breathable and remove moisture well;
- a comfortable cut that does not restrict movements and is suitable for use even in full equipment;
- the size grid covers a wide range of sizes – from XS to XL;
- the underwear is versatile, has a high-waisted fit, stretches well and keeps its shape.
The Defence Ministry added that currently, sets of women’s underwear are produced in three colours – coyote, olive green, and black.
For reference: In December 2022, the Armed Forces began testing women’s uniforms and underwear. In the summer of 2023, the Ministry of Defence finally approved the summer uniform for women.
