Dig, If You Will, This Picture, but Justices Say Warhol Infringed

The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that Andy Warhol’s portrait of Prince, right, infringed the copyright of a photo, left, by Lynn Goldsmith that he used as a reference. The ruling narrows the ‘fair use’ right of artists and writers.
