Drone strike on building in Odesa: 20 people injured, 2 in serious condition

A total of 20 people were injured when a Russian Shahed loitering drone hit a high-rise building in Odesa on 2 March 2024, with two of them currently in critical condition.

Quote: “A total of 20 people were injured, including a pregnant woman. Three people remain in hospital. Two people are in the intensive care unit; their general condition is serious, and one person is being treated in the trauma unit with a moderately severe injury.”
Details: It is reported that doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance.
A total of 12 people were killed in this attack, including five children: 4-month-old Tymofii, 7-month-old Liza, 3-year-old Mark, 8-year-old Zlata and Serhii who was to turn 10 in the summer.

Background:
- On the night of 1-2 March, part of a high-rise building in Odesa collapsed because of an attack by a Russian Shahed attack drone.
- The attack killed 12 people, including five children, and destroyed 18 apartments in the building. Another seven apartments were damaged.
