EU Lifts Eurozone Growth Forecasts

The European Commission forecast that GDP in the eurozone is expected to grow 1.1% in 2023, higher than the 0.9% increase anticipated in February, after a better-than-expected start to the year, supported by easing energy prices and a strong labor market.
