In the afternoon, she met with the head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The delegation visited one of the fire and rescue units in Kyiv Oblast and got acquainted with the techniques and equipment used by Ukrainian specialists and the specifics of the work of rescue workers in wartime.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine regularly receives various types of assistance from the EU and individual EU countries, including for demining.
