Ex-President Chen lobbies against bill that would bar son from public office
Taipei, May 2 (CNA) Former President Chen Shui-bian (陳水扁) petitioned the government Tuesday against a legislative proposal to ban people convicted of certain crimes — including one his son was recently found guilty of — from running for public office.
