Ex-President Ma to visit U.S., meet with Taiwan’s top U.S. envoy
Taipei, Oct. 15 (CNA) Former Republic of China (Taiwan) President MaYing-jeou (馬英九) departed for a trip to the United States on Sunday,where he plans to deliver a speech at New York University, meet withscholars from two Washington-based think tanks and attend a banquethosted by Taiwanese representative to the U.S. Hsiao Bi-khim (蕭美琴),Ma’s office said in a press release.
