Firefighters killed by Russians as they put out fire following attack in Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Two firefighters who were dealing with the aftermath of a Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia Oblast were killed in a subsequent Russian attack.

Quote from Klymenko: “Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The Russians once again attacked civilian infrastructure. A fire broke out.

State Emergency Service workers were at the scene in a matter of minutes. Then the occupiers struck again.

Sadly, two State Emergency Service workers were killed in the enemy attack. Our unarmed heroes are now forever 31 and 34…”

Details: Klymenko added that three more emergency workers and four civilians were also injured.

Update: Yurii Malashko, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, confirmed that the number of fatalities in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia district had increased to two people. He specified that those killed were State Emergency Service workers.
