Furloughed workers among manufacturers dip below 10,000
Taipei, Sept. 7 (CNA) The number of furloughed workers on formal unpaid leave programs in the local manufacturing sector fell below the 10,000 mark in the past week, with a semiconductor equipment supplier ending its unpaid leave plan ahead of schedule, the Ministry of Labor (MOL) said Friday.
