Details: The German Ministry of Health said that the university hospitals in Greifswald and Rostock, as well as the Charité clinic in Berlin, are ready to receive patients from Okhmatdyt.

For security reasons, the Ministry’s press service did not specify details about the flight with patients from Ukraine, which will depart for Germany on Wednesday, but indicated that it could take both Ukrainian military personnel and civilians.

The German Ministry of Health noted that the evacuation is taking place within the framework of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM), and Ukraine decides for which patients to request assistance.

“Minister [Karl] Lauterbach assured his [Ukrainian] counterpart yesterday that Germany would fulfil its commitment to accept the sick and wounded from Ukraine even in this difficult situation,” the ministry said.
