Germany’s Trade Surplus Rises; Both Exports and Imports Fall

Germany’s adjusted trade surplus climbed to €17 billion in March, with exports falling by a much bigger-than-expected 5.2%, reflecting a slide in the global demand for the country’s manufactured goods.
