Hearing date set for referendum on allowing seniors to bet on mahjong
Taipei, July 3 (CNA) The Central Election Commission (CEC) has said it will hold a hearing on July 17 on a proposed referendum to allow people aged 65 and above to legally bet amounts of under NT$1,000 (US$32) on mahjong games in public.
