Hundreds stranded in central, southern Taiwan in wake of Typhoon Khanun
Taipei, Aug. 5 (CNA) Nearly 500 people were stranded in mountainous villages across central and southern Taiwan after days of torrential rainfall caused by Typhoon Khanun, the Central Emergency Operation Center (CEOC) said Saturday.
