Oleksandr Usyk, a Ukrainian boxer and a WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO champion in super-heavy weight (22-0, 14 КО), is convinced that Ukraine will liberate the occupied peninsula of Crimea.

Quote: “I know for sure, not just believe in it. Believing and knowing are different things. Many years ago I said that I would be where I am now, and many didn’t believe in it. Now I decided to avoid speaking about something affirmatively, but I will still do it indirectly. People do not believe it, but I don’t care. I don’t believe in what some people say because they are not sincere.”
Usyk is from the city of Simferopol in Crimea. In an interview recorded long before the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Usyk replied to a question about Crimea, saying that the peninsula belonged to God.
