Lithuania allocates €1 million to support Ukraine’s European integration

One million euros was authorised by the Lithuanian Cabinet of Ministers to aid Ukraine’s European integration efforts.

Details: The funds are allocated within the framework of the project EU Integration Support Facility for Ukraine, funded by the European Commission.

The money will be disbursed over a number of years, with €340,000 being provided in 2027 and €330,000 in 2025 and 2026 each.

The goal of this project is to fortify Ukraine’s governmental institutions and enhance their capacity to monitor and coordinate EU integration, harmonise laws, and enhance communication regarding European integration.

Earlier, Lithuanian Defence Minister Laurynas Kasčiūnas stated that his country intends to provide an additional €40–50 million in aid to Ukraine this year.

As previously reported, Lithuania would invest €10 million in Ukraine to manufacture the Palianytsia missile drones. The Lithuanian government will also provide Kyiv with demining tools, radars, and short-range air defence systems.
