Background:
- Earlier, it was reported that Polish hauliers are starting a new blockade of the access road to the Dorohusk checkpoint on the border with Ukraine, and farmers will join them.
- On 15 December, the Lublin District Court allowed Polish hauliers to renew their protest at the Dorohusk checkpoint from 18 December, which had been blocked by the head of the municipality.
- The blockade of Polish carriers has been ongoing since 6 November, its key demand is to bring back the permit system for Ukrainian hauliers.
- Meanwhile, since 23 November, farmers from the Deceived Village organisation have been protesting in Medyka, Poland. They demand, among other things, subsidies for corn.
