Manufacturing sector accounts for over 80% of furloughed workers
Taipei, Sept. 2 (CNA) Taiwan’s export-oriented manufacturing sector now accounts for more than 80 percent of the country’s furloughed workers, as global demand continues to weaken, according to the Ministry of Labor (MOL).
