Manufacturing sector’s Q1 fixed asset investments down over 3%
Taipei, June 12 (CNA) Fixed asset investment by Taiwan’s export-oriented manufacturing sector fell more than 3 percent in the first quarter from a year earlier, hurt by weaker global demand and a sluggish growth environment, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) said Monday.
