Media find out when Ukraine-EU security agreement will be signed

The bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and the European Union will be signed on 27 June during the leaders’ summit in Brussels.

Details: The anonymous source said that there would be “a special guest in Brussels, whose name we are not allowed to mention, but you all wrote about it”, apparently referring to the president of Ukraine.
“And you also know that tomorrow, after the family photo (of the EU leaders), a security commitment will be signed (quote translated by Interfax-Ukraine – ed.),” the official said.
The EU summit will take place in Brussels on Thursday and Friday, 27-28 June.

- The EU Council approved the draft security agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on 25 June
- Earlier, the media reported, citing a high-level European diplomat speaking on condition of anonymity, that the text of the security agreement between Ukraine and the EU will be approved at an EU General Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg on Tuesday and signed in the coming days “on Wednesday or Thursday”.
- The media also reported that on Thursday, 27 June, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would arrive in Brussels for the EU summit.
