The two have previously visited Kyiv and pledged that the UK’s support for Ukraine would continue if Labour came to power.
“There may be a change in government this year, but there will be no change in Britain’s resolve to stand with Ukraine, confront Russian aggression and to pursue [Kremlin ruler Vladimir] Putin for his war crimes,” Healey stressed.
“It is the honour of my life to be appointed Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs. The world faces huge challenges, but we will navigate them with the UK’s enormous strengths. We will reconnect Britain for our security and prosperity at home,” Lammy said on his appointment.
