NHI to cover NT$49 million gene therapy drug for muscle atrophy
Taipei, June 24 (CNA) A one-time-only drug to treat spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) that will cost NT$49 million (US$1.58 million) will soon be covered for infants six months old and under by Taiwan’s universal health insurance system.
