At least five civilians were injured in the Russian Iskander missile strike on the Shevchenkivskyi district in central Kharkiv on 6 August. Two of them have been hospitalised.

Quote from Syniehubov: “The attack on Kharkiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district: around 10 in the morning, [Russian] occupation forces targeted the area with an Iskander missile. Doctors treated at least five injured civilians. Two women have been hospitalised for surgery and the rest were treated on an outpatient basis.”

Details: The Russian attack damaged a health centre, several cars, and other civilian infrastructure facilities. Law enforcement is working at the site of the attack to document the Russian crime.

Background: On 6 August, Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, said that Russian forces struck central Kharkiv that morning, damaging a health centre.
