Number of combat clashes on contact line increased to 121 – General Staff

The number of combat clashes along the entire contact line increased to 121 on 25 June, as Russian troops try to find ways to penetrate Ukrainian defences.

Quote:On the Kharkiv front, the Russian invaders do not give up their intention to drive Ukrainian defenders out of their positions near Vovchansk, Tykhe and Hlyboke. As of now, the defence forces have repelled five enemy assaults, and another combat clash is ongoing.

On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 attacks of the occupiers near Stepova Novoselivka, Stelmakhivka, Synkivka and Andriivka since the beginning of the day. At present, one combat clash is still ongoing.

The aggressor’s preliminary losses on this front amounted to 89 military personnel killed and injured. One tank, an armoured combat vehicle and a car were destroyed.

The enemy’s 12 attempts to advance into the depths of our territory in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka and Vyimka on the Siversk front failed. Another battle is underway. Ukrainian soldiers are keeping the situation under control.”

Details: On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians tried to penetrate Ukrainian defences nine times near Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske.  

On the Pokrovsk front, the Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian defensive lines 39 times since the beginning of the day in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka.

Fighting continues on the Kurakhove front. Since the beginning of the day, the Russians have been attacking near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka. The total number of attacks here has increased to six, two of which were repelled, and four are still ongoing.

On the Prydniprovske front, the Russian assault on the positions of our defenders near Krynky ended unsuccessfully. The situation is under control.
