Quote: “Today, the enemy made five attempts to break through the defences of our troops in the areas of Starytsia, Lyptsi and Vovchansk. Fighting is still ongoing in three locations. The situation is under control. Our soldiers conducted a number of assault operations in certain areas, and measures are underway to reinforce the defence. Today, the invaders have already lost 26 people killed and wounded and 15 pieces of weapons and military equipment on the Kharkiv front.”
Details: A total of 95 combat clashes took place. The Russians launched five missile attacks (using six missiles), 39 airstrikes (dropping 40 aerial bombs) and 309 kamikaze drone attacks, and fired 2,910 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops using various types of weapons.
On the Kupiansk front, the number of the Russians’ attempts to advance increased to 13. Fighting continues in the areas of Synkivka and Stelmakhivka. There were no losses of positions or territories.
On the Siversk front, Ukrainian troops repelled three Russian attacks, and one battle is still ongoing near the settlement of Bilohorivka.
The number of Russian attacks on the Kramatorsk front has increased to 13. One battle is still ongoing near Andriivka. The situation is intense but controlled. The Russians suffered losses: 190 soldiers killed and injured and 12 pieces of military equipment. In addition, three storage points were blown up: two containing ammunition and one storing fuel and lubricants.
On the Pokrovsk front, 25 Russian offensive and assault operations were repelled. Another seven combat clashes were ongoing. Ukrainian troops are taking measures to hold the designated lines and are regrouping in certain areas. The total Russians losses were being clarified, but it is already known that almost 400 Russian soldiers were killed and wounded. The Defence Forces were taking measures to stabilise the situation.
On the Kurakhove front, the situation remained tense. The Defence Forces repelled eight Russian attacks. Three combat clashes were still ongoing. The Russians were particularly active in the area of Netailove. In other areas, Ukrainian units carried out planned activities in the areas of the line of contact designated by the command.
On the Vremivka front, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled four Russian attempts to advance near Staromaiorske.
On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians kept trying to drive Ukrainian troops from the footholds on the left (east) bank of the Dnipro River. There were also four Russian attacks in the area of Oleshkivski Pisky and Krynky which were repelled. Ukrainian forces lost no positions.
The situation on other fronts remains unchanged.
The Russians did not conduct any offensive actions on the Lyman, Toretsk, Huliaipole and Orikhiv fronts.
The Defence Forces inflicted effective fire damage to seize the initiative on the battlefield and deplete the Russians’ offensive potential. Thus, Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery destroyed a command post, an air defence system, an artillery system, an ammunition storage point and three other important facilities belonging to the Russians.
