Details: The ministry noted that a high-voltage overhead line had been out of service in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast due to a Russian bombardment, causing a power outage at a substation and for local industry.

A fire had been discovered at the substation, which was later extinguished.

The Energy Ministry noted that overhead lines in Chernihiv Oblast had been out of order due to Russian bombardment, which resulted in power outages.

Power engineers partially resumed the power supply, though repeated strikes throughout the day caused consumers to be cut off again.

A missile attack on Zaporizhzhia Oblast tore a wire on an overhead line. The line is now back in operation.

A high-voltage overhead line was disabled in Donetsk Oblast due to hostilities, which caused a substation to lose power. Consumers did not suffer a power outage.

Background: Due to the heatwave in Ukraine and Europe, consumption has reached a maximum and significantly exceeds the capacity of Ukrainian power plants to cover it. On 15 July, regional power distribution companies imposed consumption restrictions throughout the day.
