Penalty stiffened for luring people into overseas crime rings
Taipei, May 9 (CNA) The Legislative Yuan passed an amendment Tuesday that increased the penalties for recruiting Taiwanese into cross-border organized crime rings to up to seven years in prison and a possible fine of up to NT$20 million (US$652,000).
