Poll shows 38% Americans back direct military intervention over Taiwan
Taipei, Aug. 17 (CNA) Only 38 percent of the U.S. public support the deployment of American troops to defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released Thursday.
