Details: The Federation Council, the upper chamber of the Russian parliament, received the list of candidates for the positions of heads of a number of federal ministries and institutions, proposed by Putin.
Specifically, Putin suggests appointing Andrey Belousov who was the First Deputy Head of the Russian government, as the Minister of Defence of Russia.
