Rescue workers spent the afternoon of 5 May extinguishing large-scale fires in Sumy Oblast caused by a Russian attack the night before.

Details: The State Emergency Service reported that Russian troops attacked one of the settlements in the Shostka district in the evening on 4 May.
Large-scale fires broke out in a residential area and at a civilian facility.
The State Emergency Service had extinguished the fires at noon on Sunday.
Preliminary reports indicate that two people were injured.
