Russia intensifies terror in Kherson Oblast, increasing number of attacks by 1.5 times in 2014

The Russians bombarded Kherson Oblast one and a half times more often in 2024 than in 2023.

Details: Prokudin stressed that Russia is not abandoning its terror tactics against the residents of Kherson Oblast, but rather intensifying them.
In 2024, the number of attacks increased by one and a half times. The Russians fired 218,000 projectiles over the year, which is 63% more than a year earlier.
The number of civilian casualties has also increased. In 2024, 2,187 people were injured or killed in Russian attacks. This is over 200 people more than in 2023.
In addition, Prokudin pointed out that drone attacks, which Russia has been actively utilising against civilians since August 2024, have emerged as a new dangerous threat. Thus, in five months, the Russian forces carried out about 12,000 drone assaults, killing 54 people and injuring 609 others, including eight children.
