Russia has lost 1,380 soldiers, 15 tanks, 42 artillery systems and 34 armoured combat vehicles in the war against Ukraine over the past 24 hours.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 21 May 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:
- 495,070 (+1,380) military personnel;
- 7,605 (+15) tanks;
- 14,699 (+34) armoured combat vehicles;
- 12,779 (+42) artillery systems;
- 1,077 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
- 811 (+4) air defence systems;
- 354 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
- 326 (+0) helicopters;
- 10,290 (+54) strategic and tactical UAVs;
- 2,207 (+2) cruise missiles;
- 27 (+0) ships and boats;
- 1 (+0) submarines;
- 17,383 (+72) vehicles and tankers;
- 2,085 (+6) special vehicles and other equipment.
