Russia plans to build landfills in occupied territories of Ukraine

Russia is planning to build nine landfills in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

Details: The report noted that the Russians plan to build six landfills in Luhansk Oblast and three more in Donetsk Oblast.
They also plan to transport rubbish to the occupied territories from the neighbouring Voronezh, Rostov and Belgorod oblasts on Russia.
The NRC pointed out that the Russian Federation had been transporting rubbish from Rostov Oblast to the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast, having abandoned plans to build a new landfill near the city of Rostov due to protests from local residents.
