Russian attack leaves settlement in Kharkiv Oblast without electricity

The settlement of Kozacha Lopan in Derhachi hromada, Kharkiv Oblast, was left without electricity and communications after a Russian attack on 5 December [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.].

Quote: “The building of the Kozacha Lopan’s medical dispensary was destroyed as a result of artillery strikes. Doctors’ cars, the central gas pump system, and power lines were also damaged.
Currently, there is no mobile communication or electricity in the village, and the information on casualties is being established.
Emergency services are already working to restore communications and critical infrastructure.”
