Quote from Lysohor: “Several times, the Russians tried to go on the offensive near Makiivka. But all their attacks have been stopped.
The extreme weather again hampered the enemy’s use of aviation. At the same time, the Russians do not pay attention to the losses of armoured vehicles. Usually, attack aircraft move under the cover of tanks. For each subsequent attack, manpower is delivered by infantry fighting vehicles, which our defenders often hit together with their personnel on their way.”
Details: Lysohor added that the Russians actively used mortars and artillery in Nevske and Bilohorivka.
In Pryvillia, near Lysychansk, almost no local civilians are left. The Russian military occupies empty houses. The Russians have not even begun to restore communications. The last time people used electricity there was in the spring of 2022.
Lysohor noted that Russians, over the next 12 years, plan to restore less than 10% of the cities in Luhansk Oblast captured in 2022.
Quote: “The invaders have announced a ‘master plan’ for the restoration of Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk and Rubizhne, the largest cities destroyed during their assaults. The plan is designed to last until 2035. It includes restoring less than 10% of the total number of destroyed and damaged objects. In particular, preliminary estimates indicate that more than three thousand high-rise buildings on the territory of Luhansk Oblast alone have suffered varying degrees of destruction.
The 12-year plan includes 20 houses in Lysychansk, 98 in Rubizhne, and a little more than a hundred in Sievierodonetsk. Everything else is not even considered in the short term.”
