Russian forces deployed artillery, mortars and drones to carry out four attacks on areas and civilian settlements in the vicinity of the Ukrainian-Russian border in Sumy Oblast over the course of 25 December.

Details: A total of 15 explosions occurred in Sumy Oblast, with Yunakivka and Bilopillia hromadas coming under Russian fire. [A hromada is an administrative unit demarcating a city, town, or village and its adjacent territory – ed.]
Russian forces deployed mortars to attack Bilopillia hromada, causing 12 explosions; Russian artillery shelling caused a further two explosions in the hromada.
An FPV kamikaze drone attack caused an explosion in Yunakivka hromada.
Ukrainian forces also struck down a Russian FPV drone above one other Sumy Oblast hromada.
