Russian forces launch nearly 100 UAVs on Ukraine overnight, Ukrainian air defences destroy them in 11 oblasts

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 94 loitering munitions on the night of 11-12 January. Ukrainian air defence units have destroyed 60 of them, while 34 have disappeared from radar.

Details: The Ukrainian military noted that the Russians had launched the drones from the territory of the Russian cities of Millerovo, Oryol, Bryansk and Kursk.
Drones are confirmed to have been shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Donetsk oblasts.
Several buildings in Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava oblasts were damaged by the fall of Russian UAV wreckage. There were no casualties.
