Russians attack critical infrastructure in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast: drones shot down

The Russian occupiers attempted to attack critical infrastructure in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast on the night of 3-4 December, but their drones were shot down, resulting in no casualties or significant damage.

Quote from Onyshchuk: “The enemy continues to attack critical infrastructure in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. At night, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with drones. At dawn, during an air raid, air defence forces destroyed enemy drones in our oblast. Fortunately, there were no casualties or significant damage.”
Details: According to the head of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast State Administration, emergency response services have been deployed to the site where the drone fragments crashed.
“We continue to work on strengthening our firing points to prevent the enemy from destroying our infrastructure and critical facilities in the oblast,” Onyshchuk summed up.
Background:
- Earlier, it was reported that Russian troops launched Shahed attack drones from occupied Crimea on Sunday evening. At 02:22, they reached the west of the country, and at 03:34, an air-raid warning was issued in Zakarpattia Oblast.
- On the morning of 4 December, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that it had managed to shoot down 18 out of the 23 Shahed drones and a missile launched by the Russian occupiers to attack Ukraine at night.
