Russians attack Kharkiv with Shahed drones, target civilian infrastructure, cause fire – photo, video

During a Shahed drone attack on the night of 30-31 December, explosions were heard in the city of Kharkiv, fires were caused in the city centre.

Updated: Later, Ihor Terekhov, Mayor of Kharkiv, said that the city was under attack of Shahed drones.

Details: Local Telegram channels reported three fires starting at once in the centre of Kharkiv.

Details: According to him, two drone hits were recorded: one in a residential building, while the other into a building of social infrastructure.

Updated at 3:04: Terekhov said that buildings in the city centre were damaged as a result of the attack of Russian drones. There is a destruction of water supply networks.
Quote: “Not even three hours have passed as Kharkiv was attacked again, this time by Shahed UAVs. The destruction caused is very serious. This is not a military facility, this is rather a residential development, offices in the central part of the city.”

Earlier: At least six explosions have occurred in the city of Kharkiv during a Russian air raid. Civil infrastructure and houses were damaged, 26 people are known to have been injured, including two minors and a UK journalist.
