Russian troops have attacked the city of Kropyvnytskyi, killing one person and injuring another.

Quote: “Several residential buildings were damaged in an enemy attack on the regional centre. A fire broke out in one of the gardens. Unfortunately, a person was killed.”

Details: A 90-year-old woman also sustained light injuries. Medics have already treated her. She does not need hospitalisation. Emergency response services have been deployed to the site of the attack.

Background:
- The Russians attacked Ukraine with three guided aerial bombs and 52 kamikaze drones on the night of 17-18 September 2024. Air defence destroyed 46 UAVs, another five disappeared from radar due to the work of electronic warfare systems, and one flew back to Russia.
- Ukrainian air defence responded in Mykolaiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy and Poltava oblasts.
