Russians attack Sumy Oblast 30 times in one day, injuring 1 person

A total of 30 attacks and 296 explosions were recorded in the border areas of Sumy Oblast on 28 December. A local resident has been injured.

Details: A resident of Esman hromada [an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.] was injured in one of the attacks and she was taken to hospital.
To quote the administration:
- Bilopillia hromada: mortar shelling (six explosions), fire from AGS automatic grenade launchers (58 explosions) and FPV kamikaze drones (two explosions) were conducted from Russian territory.
- Esman hromada: the Russians fired mortars (38 explosions).
- Krasnopillia hromada: mortar (27 explosions) and artillery shelling (nine explosions) were recorded.
- Velyka Pysarivka hromada: there were attacks from AGS automatic grenade launchers (26 explosions) and mortars (33 explosions).
- Seredyna-Buda hromada: Russian forces dropped 76 mortar bombs on the hromada’s territory.
- Khotin hromada: there were mortar attacks (17 explosions).
- Yunakivka hromada: artillery shelling (three explosions) was carried out from Russian territory.
- Myropillia hromada: a Russian FPV drone conducted an attack (one explosion).
