Russians intensify offensive and assaults: 99 combat clashes on the contact line

The Russian troops have been increasing the pace of offensive and assault operations since the beginning of the day on 26 June, looking for ways to penetrate the Ukrainian defence and try to force Ukrainian units out of their positions.

Quote: “The number of combat clashes along the entire contact line has increased to 99. The situation is the most tense on the Pokrovsk front and in Kharkiv Oblast. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders are giving a proper response to the occupiers, killing personnel and destroying equipment.”
Details: On the Kharkiv front, two Russian attacks are currently underway near Vovchansk. Another seven Russian attacks on this front were repelled – near Lyptsi and near Vovchansk. The General Staff reported that the current activity of the Russian forces on this front resulted in the loss of 124 people killed and wounded. Three artillery systems, four vehicles and a piece of special equipment were destroyed. Russian casualties are still being counted.
On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders have repelled seven assaults by the Russian forces near Synkivka, Berestove, Stelmakhivka and Stepova Novoselivka since the beginning of the day. A combat clash is still ongoing near the latter.
Eleven attempts by the Russians to improve their tactical position failed on the Lyman front. The Russians continued two attacks in the areas of Nevske and Makiivka. The situation is under control. The Russians fired four guided aerial missiles at the territory of the Serebrianka Forest.
On the Siversk front, the Russian forces continue to attack in the areas of Bilohorivka, Spirne and Rozdolivka. Four attacks by the Russians were repelled, and five more combat clashes are ongoing.
On the Toretsk front, the number of attacks increased to seven. The Russians are making the main efforts to attack towards the city of Toretsk.
On the Pokrovsk front, the Russians are not slowing down their offensive. Since the beginning of the day, they have attacked the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders 34 times. 23 of their assaults failed, and 11 more attacks are ongoing.
Fighting continues on the Kurakhove front. Since the beginning of the day, the Russians have been conducting attacks, in particular near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka. The total number of attacks here has increased to seven.
On the Prydniprovske front, five Russian assaults were unsuccessful. The General Staff states that no positions were lost.
The situation on other fronts has not changed significantly.
