Details: Russian media and Telegram channels, citing sources in the security forces, call Semenov a suspect in a supposed attempted poisoning of graduates of the Armavir Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots, which the FSB is allegedly investigating. It was not officially announced.
Earlier, several Russian military bloggers said that the participants of the meeting of the school’s graduating pilots almost became victims of poisoning on 21 October in Armavir. A bottle of whiskey and a cake were brought to their banquet. The pilots found the gifts suspicious and reported it to the FSB. Allegedly, it turned out that the cake and whiskey were poisoned (the kind of poison not reported). It is claimed that Yehor Semenow was the employee who delivered the cake.
Kommersant Russian media writes that the investigation is now investigating his involvement in the attempt. Baza Telegram channel previously wrote that he was detained in Stavropol while trying to fly to Moscow.
At the same time, he was arrested under an article about petty hooliganism. The joint press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Krai reported that “citizen Semenov, being on the street, spoke obscenely, waved his hands, did not respond to comments”. Sources of the media claim that Semenov may be arrested in a criminal case of attempted terrorist attack after serving his sentence. Neither the initiation of such a case nor the suspects were officially announced.
Russian bloggers, citing sources in the security forces, claim that the attempt was allegedly organised by employees of the Security Service of Ukraine.
