Sergey Shoigu, the Secretary of the Russian Federation’s Security Council, arrived in Iran on Tuesday 17 September.

Details: According to reports, Shoigu met with Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
TASS does not provide any other information about the trip.
Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Iran has supplied Russia with weapons used to attack Ukrainian infrastructure, such as the Shahed-type kamikaze UAVs.
