Taiwan rejects 4 batches of U.S. cherries for excessive chemicals
Taipei, Aug. 8 (CNA) Four shipments of fresh cherries totaling 14,160 kilograms imported from the United States and one 250kg batch from Canada have been rejected at Taiwan’s borders after they were found to contain excessive levels of agricultural chemical residue, Taiwan’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Tuesday.
