Taiwan shares edge up; shipping stocks under heavy pressure
Taipei, Dec. 25 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan edged higher Monday as earlier gains were largely eroded, in particular in large-cap tech stocks, on reduced turnover with many foreign institutional investors away for the Christmas holiday, dealers said.
